What is required to use Lyrebird?

All you need to get started with Lyrebird is a functioning microphone. This can be any type of microphone and we don't require any special type of microphone for you to get started. If you don't own a microphone please reach out to us here and we will be able to get you set up.


Getting Consent

Getting consent in healthcare is incredibly important. To use Lyrebird in patient consults, you must obtain patient consent to record the conversation. This can be as simple as, "is it okay if I record this conversation to write my patient notes?". With Lyrebird, no information is ever sent overseas, so you can reassure the patient their information is being safely handled.

We also provide QR codes for clinics to stick on their reception desk so that patients can see how their information is being handled. If you want one of these, please reach out to use here.
